While Eliza was at school, Melissa actually had a few minutes to take some pics of Juliet. She has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks and is doing great. She went for her 8 week checkup, and the doctor said she was doing great.
Eliza had her first dance "recital" today. It was incredibly cute. She absolutely loved it.
Juliet is growing every day and keeping her mom on her toes. She's sleeping four or five hours at a time in the evening, so at one month old, Melissa seems pretty happy with that.
Eliza continues to enjoy her little sister and asks to hold her every day. "Where's Juliet?" is usually her first question in the morning. She's talking in long sentences now, knows the alphabet, can count to ten in English and Spanish, and recognizes numerals and letters. If you ask her a question in Spanish, most of the time she will answer you in Spanish. She also knows the words to a lot of the "So long, Farwell" song from the Sound of Music, which she watches most nights before bed. I'll have to tape that and post the video soon. Super cute.

Juliet Lawson Ladd was born at 9:15 PM on 6/17/09. 7 lbs., 13 ozs., 20 inches tall. She and her mom are doing great. Eliza seems to be fine as long as there is a grandparent entertaining her. So as long as that continues, we are good. :-)
